This supernatural/scifi series started off in a very unusual way
when a girl got shot without apparent reason
Fast forward to present day when two scientist saw
something from outer space crashed onto earth
the impact from the crash created a wave that's effecting individuals of different gender, race, age...awakening something
inside them.

Those
random individuals may be the lead characters on this series where they're going on a journey to save the world .. or humanity .. or both or neither.
All through the 40ish minutes, we're given bread crumbs about what possibly the main plot of the story
where it will take place...

I have a feeling this series is like Dominion mixed with Extant, and it got me excited cause I happens to loved those series.
