iZombie | Television Show | The CW

One of the most anticipated tvshow in 2015 !!! This loose adaptation of comic book series of the same name, iZombie is finally here! Airs on CW every Tuesday and sets for 13 episode for its first season.

I've seen several Youtube channels putting iZombie in their Most Anticipated Television Shows of 2015, but it wasn't until I watched Buzzfeed's video that it really piqued my interest. I mean at first I thought its just gonna be the usual zombie-themed shows, and I'm not really into that kind of flow, so I wasn't really expecting much.

But after watching the first episode, ohh boy~ it blew my mind!

So... iZombie tells the story about zombies *naturally* but not the gross and slow kind of zombie we've known so far. The lead zombie-girl, Liv, has issues in accepting her condition and struggling in adapting with her "new life" as a zombie.

Luckily, she has support from her boss, Dr. Ravi, at her new workplace which is a morgue. 

In addition on her struggles on living her new life, she gets visions from eating all the brains, 

Thus she kind of helping Detective Babinaux, a rookie homicide detective at Seattle PD,

What I liked the most from iZombie is the unusual approach or point of view of the story. Most of the time, we viewed zombies as soulless decaying thing that goes after human's brain. But in iZombie, Liv's character depicted as pretty much like any other living person. Mind you I also loved Warm Bodies for the same reason.

Also most of the supporting cast (that has been revealed at least on this first episode) were likable, particularly Dr. Ravi and Babinaux. Plus, who can resist a girl with white hair and eats brains :d

So, overall I vote YASS! for iZombie and hope it will get more interesting, thrilling and entertaining.
