So.. I heard that this "roast" was meant to honoring one's accomplishments. Like the kind of speech we heard from that drunk best man at a wedding. So, lets not get our hopes high, cause the real "burn" happens on twitter :D
But after watching the show, the roasters got more roast than the roastee. Which is kind of sad and confusing.
Sad because after all the "scripted brutal burns" he'll only gain more publicity instead of enlightenment.
Confusing because the roasters are a bunch of has-beens who looks desperately trying to keep the spotlight on them. Like they're a bunch of friends hangingout and throwing inside jokes to one another and there's this one kid who isn't really in their circle but since they're in a really good mood and don't want to be rude, they throw a joke or two at him too, but like a shallow joke, nothing too personal but enough to bring a laugh.
I could be completely wrong though, cause I'm not American. Could barely grasp the 'Muricans sense of humor.
Also, some of the "jokes" were already leaked so its kinda lessen the comedic sense.
Overall, Bieber is 21 now. All his acts and talks from now on will be accountable of an adult. The show itself, well... lets say it was a laughable show (pun intended) :D
