Living in the vast technology growth era, we pretty much spent a large portion of our time being online. And as the biggest and well known source for an online audio-visual based website, I am sure we all know and definitely accessed Youtube. From watching music videos up to learning how to do stuff. From entertainment, edutainment to some weird conspiracy theory contents are stored in Youtube and its just a click away.
I, myself is an addict to Youtube, but I am not a Youtuber. Mostly because I dont have enough creativity to film anything interesting nor the editing skill. But since I often jayviewing in there, I might as well blog down my 2cents and a nickle about Youtube.
I've been using Youtube for viewing music videos since 2007-ish and been jayviewing channels religiously since last year. I dont really like to read, so when I found out that there are other music videos contents in Youtube, I practically use it as my Google+TV. Especially when it integrated with Gmail, I started to subscribe to many of my favorite channels. I even put effort to compile them so it appears neat and clean.
I also planning to blog about the Youtubers I subscribed to, to show my appreciation and support for them. Those professional Youtubers deserve to be considered as an equal to other artist. They put a lot of efforts to write down an unique contents, making necessary props, filming it for hours even days, editing the contents with cool effects and upload it as punctual as they can, all for the viewers. That is a lot of hard work! And expensive equipment!
Reading the comments while jayviewing, a lot of commentators often complained about a lot of thing. From the physical appearance to why Youtubers only upload their content once a week. I mean, Youtubers are still human. They do get writers blocked, they can get sick, they have friends and family to be with and most of them took YEARS before their channel get verified!
Lets be considerable and support them so they'll entertain us from the comfort of our room in just a click away~
