Take set in an alternate universe where mere-humans and super-humans co-exist together side by side. Some super-humans treated as celebrity, living lavishly and almost "untouchable by law", some super-humans live like an outsider, and some are criminals to hunt down and lock up. Super-humans is the kind of "group" you dont want to deal with OR you desperately want to become a part of, either way it's pretty much like our normal daily life.

The brand that associated with games is now breaching into motion pictures area by launching its first scripted original program, Powers. Its first 3 episodes were aired on March 10 on Youtube and the PlayStation Network.

In this adaptation of Powers comic book series, we will be following a homicide detective Christian Walker
who was a superhero known as Diamond but now has lost his super-ability to his ex-teacher, Bigby Wolfe
who is now locked up in some kind of experimental institution which possibly run by Triphammer.

After losing his super-human ability, Walker become a detective for Los Angeles Police Department
in Powers Division.
After the unfortunate death of his partner, he is now paired up with an eager young mere-human woman Deena Pilgrim
to investigate a death of Walker's old acquaintance which lead them to unravel the mystery behind some super-human-wanna-be teenage girl called Calista,
that's involving his old crush known as Retro Girl
and probably set out by his old friend-turned-enemy, Johnny Royalle.

The first 3 episodes were kind of confusing for me to follow, probably because I have not read the original comic book but since this first season were just set for 10 episodes, I'll probably going to follow it. I'm holding on the promise that it'll have some pretty badass CGI possibly done for a "television show".
